Art Week 2026
THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER INCREDIBLE ART WEEK!
Exhibit Opening + Block Party
RAW extends a heartfelt thank you to each and every member of our community who showed up and showed out for our annual Exhibit Opening + Block Party. Thanks to our supporters, youth artists, families, community partners, alumni, board members, and staff, this year's gathering was bigger and better than ever, featuring more partners, more performances, more art-making, and more fun!
We are especially proud of our Artists-in-Action team and RAW staff who made it possible for us to engage the community in a live art activation. Words of welcoming and belonging printed with your hands are still adorning the RAW building! Flowing from the brush of RAW artist Ocean, this 4-story art installation projects out the message that RAW wants the entire city of Lynn to feel: this is a space built by the community for our community, and everyone is welcome here.
Thanks to Ocean, RAW Artist and senior, and Damon Best, RAW Alum, for helping us make this vision a reality.

BASH REIMAGINED : We surpassed our goal of $200,000
We are thrilled to share that our BASH REIMAGINED Campaign raised $248,000! This year, in a moment when many young people and families are navigating uncertainty and change, RAW chose to gather in ways that center creativity, connection, and belonging.
Instead of "Partying with a Purpose" at BASH, we gave our dancing shoes a break. BASH REIMAGINED was a curated, month-long campaign with opportunities to sponsor an artist, attend our Annual Block Party, and participate in RAW's virtual Silent Auction.
Thank you for meeting the moment with us, sponsoring our artists and making bids on the auction. Over a thousand community members attended the Exhibit Opening + Block party, and twenty nine supporters took home a piece of art from the RAW community. We are extremely grateful for each and every one of you!
The 26th Annual Real to Reel Film Screening
The 2026 Real to Reel Film Screening was a huge success. With over 150 attendees, The Cabot in Beverly came to life with the stories of RAW filmmakers. We are so proud of the films they created, and can’t wait to see what red carpets they’ll walk onto next. If you didn’t have a chance to join us, check out the photos or you can see the films here.

THIS YEAR’S THEME: UNDERCURRENTS
Undercurrents invites us to notice what moves beneath the surface of who we are, how we relate, and the world we inhabit. Like tides, roots, and mycelium networks, unseen forces shape our thoughts, our actions, and our connections to others long before they surface. This is a space to honor silence, witness tension, and recognize the courage it takes to let something rise to the surface and be known.
Through these works, we see how personal experience, collective memory, and cultural forces intertwine. What we hold inside, what we create, and how we connect ripple outward, shaping our communities and the world. Undercurrents asks us to acknowledge and give space to what is already there that is shaping our relationship to self, each other and the world.
