Käthe Swaback
joined the core team of Raw Art Works to develop RAW Space in 1994. As artist, art therapist, and program director, Käthe oversaw and taught in a continuum of 50+ programs. From 2008-12, she also led the Boston Youth Arts Evaluation Project culminating in the publication of a handbook and workbook, with BYAEP receiving statewide recognition for Excellence in Collaboration. In 2019, she joined Mass Cultural Council to be part of their Creative Youth Development (CYD) and Education Team while also helping to lead their new arts and health initiative, CultureRx. For the past seven years, Käthe has served on the CYD Steering Committee and the Visibility and Impact Action team with the National Guild for Community Arts Education and the National CYD Partnership. Käthe is fueled by her painting and is honored to join the amazing creative team of Door to Door whenever possible.
