Charlotte Hannum
Americorps Fellow
Charlotte Hannum is an artist currently serving as an Americorps Fellow. In the role, Charlotte serves alongside RAW’s Program and Community Engagement managers assisting in expanding outreach efforts to ensure multilingual learners experience a sense of belonging and have opportunities to further develop their SEL skills. Some of her responsibilities include co-leading groups, working alongside art therapists in Loud + Proud and Kickstart II, building and maintaining meaningful relationships with students, families, and community partners.
Charlotte grew up in Massachusetts and received a Bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary and studio art from Hampshire College. In her work, Charlotte uses a variety of mediums as a way to examine her life and the world around her. The pull for Charlotte is the possibility that she can dive in and lose herself in the subject, thus creating art that will reveal something neither the subject nor the artist previously knew. Before RAW, Charlotte worked as an art teacher in Seattle and Boston, teaching painting, public art, pottery, and fiber art.
Charlotte joined the team at RAW in 2023.
